# Drive Mode

Users can earn BYL while driving (this may include general commuting such as taking a taxi or public transportation).

* **Rental Vehicle:** Zero-cost use of Drive mode, users will receive a Rental Vehicle automatically after completing your Avatar profile
* **Digital Vehicle:** Owning a Digital Vehicle will allow users to utilize the Drive mode with full earnings

You can obtain a **BOOOST Digital Vehicle** by purchasing it on [**Opensea**](https://opensea.io/collection/booost-digital-vehicle), or by burning a [**BOOOST TZRKT**](https://opensea.io/collection/booost-tzrkt) on [**BOOOSTATION**.](https://www.booost.live/booostation)

#### **Fuel System**

Fuel is needed to earn BYL and is depleted while driving. Once fuel is completely depleted, users stop earning BYL points. Users get a full fuel top-up automatically every 24 hours at 00:00 UTC.

#### Earnings Mechanism

A player's BYL earnings are affected by the following factors:

1. Digital Vehicle / Rental Vehicle **attribute** stats (can be increased by leveling up your vehicle)
2. GPS signal - players earn less if GPS signal is weak (for e.g. if driving through tunnels)
3. Mobile data signal strength - players earn less if mobile data strength is weak
4. Average Moving speed - users do not earn below an undisclosed average speed
5. Randomization

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://booost-1.gitbook.io/booost-whitepaper/drive-mode.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
